Piccolini Nursery caters to the needs of children from 3 months to 3 years, and provides small group numbers and excellent teacher to child ratios.
Our specialist infant teachers place a lot of importance on nurturing each child to ensure that the bonds of attachment are made and each child’s individual needs are met during their days with us. We work with parents to facilitate a smooth settling-in process and will be guided by what works best for the parents and the child.
Smooth transitions are important to us. Our nursery children who are nearing kindergarten age, are provided with plenty of opportunities to visit the kindergarten and become familiar with the teachers and children prior to starting their kindergarten journey.
Our private kindergarten offers high quality education with small teaching groups and highly experienced kindergarten teachers.
Whilst focusing on essential preparatory skills for school, our kindergarten tailors learning to the children’s individual needs in a fun, loving environment.
Well-resourced and spacious, our kindergarten enables children to explore and learn, and creates opportunities for teachers to work with small groups of children and to facilitate and build on the child’s knowledge. Our natural outdoor area encourages children to explore the environment including a sandpit, vegetable garden, playground and swings, or simply enjoy the grass under their feet.
Through creating an environment rich in opportunities for learning through exploration and discovery, we create a balance between structured learning and child-directed learning. This ensures children are well prepared and ready for school, assisting in a seamless transition.
