My daughter spent an amazing four years with Piccolini from a one year old in the nursery until she graduated the kindy and started school. The whole team at Piccolini was amazing, working with us as our needs changed and helping transition my daughter through various stages and milestones the way I wanted her to (changing sleep patterns, toilet training, moving to the kindy etc). With a stable and obviously carefully selected staff, many teachers the same over the four years, Piccolini provided a home way from home – for both of us! If you’re looking for a genuinely caring centre where your children will be nurtured as individuals I can’t recommend Piccolini highly enough.

You guys have rocked, my little 20 month year old who started with Belinda and Nicola has certainly turned into a pretty cool 3+ year old and I credit you all for providing him with a safe and nurturing environment! You’ve helped him grow and develop and you certainly helped me when I’ve struggled to understand why he has done certain things – being re-assured that it was all normal behaviour and part of him growing up.

Our son, Charlie, joined the Piccolini family just after their doors opened as a 2 year old. We have enjoyed being a part of Piccolini as they have grown in numbers and constantly strive to provide quality care and educational opportunities for all pre-school ages. The teachers are exceptional and always communicate how Charlie is growing and developing through his story book. Piccolini has offered diverse education by having various guests come to work with the children as well as field-trip opportunities outside of Piccolini. We are certainly pleased with our choice of pre-school and look forward to Charlie’s little brother joining the Piccolini family next year.

I am thrilled with Piccolini – our children have been at Piccolini since we moved to Hawke’s Bay in Feb 08, and we were looking for somewhere that would provide a nurturing environment for them. We truly found that. What impresses me about Piccolini is the low turn-over of staff, which means great consistency for the kids, and the absolute caring and friendly nature of the mature and professional staff. The centre provides great play spaces and resources – both inside and out. The outdoor area is perfect for sunny Hawke’s Bay with a tranquil shaded green environment. The Piccolini team are dedicated to providing a quiet, child-centric play environment. The staff are creative, innovative and develop strong relationships with the children and parents. Having the children at Piccolini, has been one of the best things about our move to Hawke’s Bay. I generally believe they are providing the best sort of childcare for today’s children.
